I applaud Fairfield Green Drinks for providing practical and cutting edge resources to help our community make environmentally friendly choices.” The event is Tuesday, April 6th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at The Shack (previously Beach Cafe).
The featured guest is Umbrella Computer Consulting who is a leading provider of “green” technology solutions. This includes low-power consumption hardware, infrastructure for telecommuting solutions, and other initiatives aimed at reducing energy costs and environmental impact. They will be joined by CT Fund for the Environment, Fairfield Organic Teaching Farm, MowGreen.US, Fairfield Earth Day Celebration and Fairfield School Gardens. Authors Catherine Lutz and Anne Lutz Fernandez’s will be on hand to talk about their book, Carjacked: The Culture of the Automobile and its Effect on Our Lives
